Yesterday we went to the Lewisville Colorpalooza arts fesitval. It was a fun thing with arts and crafts, food trucks, live music, etc. It was mostly for kids, but I wanted to go to hear the music.

One of the music acts was Jay-B & the Zydeco Posse. This is a local Zydeco band that I had heard of for a while, but never saw. Finally I had the chance to hear some live Zydeco and Cajun music close to home.

Unfortunately “Jay-B” himself could not make it and T-Broussard filled in on accordion and vocals. You could tell they were working stuff out on the fly, but it was all good. I loved it. T-Broussard even got him mom up there to play a couple of songs. She played accordion and sang.
